Review of the Technology Day 2023
The motto of the Technology Day 2023 was: The challenge of a shortage of skilled workers.
At the Technology Day on 24 March 2023 at FAES-PWR ESTECH AG in Rüti, our customers and business partners gained an in-depth insight into the world of precision manufacturing and valuable information on the subject of the challenge of the shortage of skilled workers.
The event was a great success: we welcomed over 80 guests.
The highlights:
- The high-calibre presentation by Martin Hirzel, SWISSMEM President, with the topic: "How can the tech industry meet the skills shortage?"
- Guided tour / visit of FAES-PWR ESTECH AG with the focus on:
- Automated CNC production of precision parts
- Flexible automation of existing CNC machines
- Express production of small series
- Aerospace certification according to EN/AS 9100 - "Motivating Generation Z for Technical Professions"
Speech by Hans-Peter Meier, long-time entrepreneur in personnel recruitment for technical professions
To round off the event, we invited our guests to a musical evening with a fine beer from the local brewery Seebueb and pretzels.
