ESTECH Group is committed to integrated environmental management. This commitment includes:

• the continuous improvement of energy efficiency

The environmental management system of the ESTECH Group and its companies is certified according to ISO 14001:2015.

ESTECH GROUP COMMITS TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON CO2 EMISSIONS REDUCTION AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The ESTECH Group and its companies are committed to sustainable climate protection and energy efficiency out of conviction. By voluntarily participating in the programme of the Energy Agency for Industry, ESTECH Group AG is committed to actively reducing CO2 emissions and optimising energy efficiency. The programme is equally recognised by the Confederation, the cantons and the partners of the economy.

The core of the programme is the target agreement with the Confederation. The ESTECH Group commits itself to specific targets for reducing CO2 emissions and improving energy efficiency. In 2019, the targets set were exceeded - the total reduction in CO2 emissions was >80to CO2eq.

The targets are linked to concrete measures such as the replacement of light bulbs with energy-saving LED installations, replacement of old hall doors and roof ventilators, optimised control of the compressed air networks, various optimisations in the area of heat generation and insulation, reduction of fossil energy sources, and much more. The measures will be implemented step by step over the next 8 years.
